Saw this a few days ago on a dog walk, I am assuming it is supposed to be "PAUL H", very tragic!

I followed a Toyota Auris at the weekend that had the plate M222GAY. Sadly I didn't get a chance to see the driver to see if they were indeed too gay or whether it was an older lady who may have been called Gay.

The old fella who lives opposite me has recently bought himself a new Yaris and, I shit you not, actually put the following personal plate on it: T500 TOY. That is surely the very definition of a Gittish plate

There's a dick around these parts that has the plate RR10 ACE in a barely legible font. Cunt never indicates either.

It took me a while but I got there in the end. You eventually realised that as a youngster the driver preferred Rootes/Chrysler products to the more obvious Ford alternative?

When I used to race there was a guy called Brian Beverley from Dundee who had an immaculate Avenger which used to get about 50% more sideways than even the Escorts - going up Doune hillclimb, that was quite a feat.

My parents inherited one when my Granddad died, not long before I turned 17. I remember making a mental note when my driving instructor mentioned that they were prone to going sideways. He wasn't wrong. It had a fantastic gearchange though and I was moderately sad when my dad blew the engine up on a high speed run, fortunately not far from the house.

A friend’s dad died in a crash driving an Avenger when we were 11. I’ve never liked them since.

Every time I think "oh I might like a personal plate" I just come and read this thread and the urge soon leaves me.... or perhaps the secret is to test it here whether it passes the git test or not before purchase?
