A lot of "sea views" are spoilt by those offshore wind farms I was horrified when it was announced these were going to be built here but now I'm used to them. If they're worth it or not or are just a part of the new religion is maybe up for debate.

Got a lift in a Scirocco today. Don’t think I’ve ever been in one before, despite driving most small and medium VW’s over the past few years. The owner, a colleague from work, enjoys driving it and it felt very nippy as a passenger. He’s thinking of changing it soon but doesn’t know what for yet.

I don't normally look at the eco data in my Evoque but today I did. On the way out the Evoque rated my driving at 95% and on the way home 99%. Looking at the instant MPG figure gets a bit addictive. I was pleased to see 99mpg, less pleased to see 7mpg Anyone care to say what their car computer said about their diving today?

Not this morning, though, when we were running late for a booking at a riding stables and I had to make up time on Irish country lanes.

When I can get out I don't let the weather stop me. I've been on the beach in all weathers, snow, driving rain and gale. Once it was so windy the screen protector on my camera blew off. Mrs WW is a more delicate child and until recently wouldn't go out in anything less than perfect conditions but recently I've tempted her out with the thought of a picnic in the car and that's what we did today. Picnic in the car in the rain. The food was home made bread sandwich with Quorn roast beef, baby leaf salad and in my case Branston pickle. She had Sriracha source. The afters was fruit and tea/coffee. Conditions outside. I could only take a couple of quick pictures as the fine rain and fret quickly covered the lens. Oh, and 97% today. This is getting addictive

Oh she sits in the front but annoyingly when she wants to sit in the back she gets there by climbing over the seats rather than using the doors, as I do. If she damages the seats or centre console she's paying for the repair!

Hair related... I'm going thin on top... It comes to many of us I suppose. Mrs WW recently switched me from the shampoo I've always used to a home made brew of some sort of nut from the far east and blue tea water. It stings like hell if you get it in your eyes and you can use it sudless or with suds, we go sudless. Anyway. Switching from shampoo to this natural remedy home brew stuff has lead to less hair loss (just looking at what comes out and end up in the bottom of the shower) and amazingly new hair growth in the thin patch.
If any forumers are going a bit thin or just fancy giving this natural stuff a try I'll post the recipe. I was sceptical at first but I do have to admit that it does everything Mrs WW said it would.

Unexpected today, but ended up working from home. My son fell off his bike on the way to school and hit his head. His art folder got tangled up in his bike and he fell off. Anyway, his head is ok, but it looks like he’s sprained/injured his left hand. So I had to pick him up- his sister is bringing the bike home. Work was quiet so I’m catching up on stuff that I’ve been ignoring… and I’ve noticed that the chair I bought for the home office isn’t terribly comfortable, probably a 90 minute chair at best.
The bike is ok. His head is ok…

Good to hear he's ok.
I managed to come off my bike a few times - once when a pair of wellies in a carrier bag got caught between the forks and spokes and stopped the front wheel dead at which point I went over the bars and flew quite far. All I got from that was a small scuff on my elbow Worst one was high-siding and landing on the road face first. Broke a front tooth and suffered concussion. I'm sure it hasn't done me any particular harm though.............

Upcoming art project involving a bent bicycle wheel and a ripped art folder. How the accidents of life create situations which allow our creativity to take a side-turn into an unexpected avenue of fruitfulness. Or something.
I hope he's OK.

I remember my trousers used to get caught in the chain and gears and bring me to a sudden skidding stop, that happened a few times and I never learned from it. I never injured myself though. I'd still love to ride a bike again

Thanks all, he’s doing ok. His left hand is sore today but the swelling has gone down a bit. He’s got some movement back too but more bruising is appearing. His right thumb is also sore as I think he managed to jam fingers on both hands, hence the bruising.

Rodge, the reason for the like was due to his being fine, forgot to post a reply so sorry for that.
