We were up at our caravan at the weekend (site open to owners only at this point, with everyone observing proper social distancing - excellent work!) and the local berry farm had their wee stall open.
Just had the first of this years Blairgowrie strawberries with some vanilla ice cream (Mackies, but not bad) and they were absolutely delicious! Sweet as you'd like, and juicy .. .. ..
.. .. .. m, mm, MMmmmm!!!

I dragged the air rifle from the corner of my office this afternoon as I am sick of the bunnies digging up my fields and garden. I nailed 6 in the back garden this evening alone! It's a start.

I'd eat them. The missus doesn't like game. I left them for the Kites and the barn owl.

Ah, this brings back memories from the 1990's when I worked in the water industry. I was somewhere around a Scottish reservoir when the groundsman returned to the "office" building on site in his Land Rover.... SWB with an open back full of dead rabbits. He;s been out getting them as they can undermine the reservoir structure if too many of them burrow away in one place at one time. I've never seen so many rabbits in one place before

I'm out of contract on my phone and broadband. Shopping around revealed EE to be competitive at £40 per month for the top package including all calls, so I went ahead and started the switch. This prompted the retentions team at my current provider XLN to contact me and do it for £32 per month!

I'm on FTTC and get 80megs down and 20 up. It's more than enough for what I need. The rumour is that Arabs up the road bunged Openreach a load of money to install fibre to the village as it happened a lot earlier than expected.

The Ka, C-Max and Grand C-Max all appear to have been dropped by Ford UK. They're no longer on the website under the new cars section

The C Max was last based on the 3rd gen Focus so I'm not surprised it's not longer on sale given that the car it's based on has been replaced. The market now wants SUVs instead.

Ka / Ka+ whatever, it's gone from the Ford UK website. Also looks like Ford are not going to produce a C-Max replacement based on the current Focus. The market may want SUV's but I don't !

We're only 8 miles from Shrewsbury, yet we're only getting 10MB download and 1MB upload. The download is OK and good enough for live TV etc. But it is the upload speed that kills us. If we want to back up to the cloud etc, we have to do it overnight. 4G is quicker to upload photos.

^ Yes, but I'd not intended to. If a "better" C-Max had been available I might have gone for that..... I was on the point of buying the C-Max at the end of the PCP when the dealer phoned up and started offering interesting deals on the Kuga. I ended up agreeing to what may have been their best deal on a Tuesday or Wednesday and collecting the car on the Friday of the same week.

Anyone ever attempted to dismantle a Hozelock Autoreel without looking up how to do it first? I don't recommend it!

I was in town early this morning. Many shops are still not opening until 10am or even 11am on a Saturday; I wondered why so many were closed! Fortunately I didn't need much and was OK... however I returned home via an out-of-town Sainsburys which not only was busy, but had a long queue for the petrol pumps, both when I went in, and when I came out to return home almost an hour later.
In town, the Halfords had gone for good and the Argos store is still closed... I suspect that it also may not re-open, forcing people to go to the counter in the out-of-town Sainsburys.
Many of the stores in town didn't have "wardens" counting and controlling the number of shoppers. Looks like many are letting their guard down already
EDIT: I also noted that the foreign exchange bureau in the town centre was open today, even if the one in Sainsburys was still firmly shut. However the rates didn't look good and there was nobody being served when I walked past (on 3 occasions)

Why do you want an mpv over an suv I don’t like suvs really but would rather have one over an mpv . SUV's squander their height as extra ground clearance instead of interior space, for one thing. And seeing that the most off-roading most SUVs do is mounting kerbs, there's no real reason for such great ground clearance.... maybe in the USA things are different but not in the UK. Also, it's the "MP" bit I like - multi-purpose, so if I need to carry 7 in the car, I can. If I need to carry just me, I can fold seats down or remove them and load up with bricks, lengths of timber, bags of sand etc etc. An SUV is just like an "ordinary" car but with bigger ground clearance and possibly a bit more power to give it some element of sportiness. I'll take versatility and practicality over sportiness any day of the week

Why don’t you just get a merchants to deliver them Like most people. I’m just trying to work out how many extensions your building in your 3 year pcp
