I suppose if you send out several hundred thousand of those e-mails you are going to get a small number of guilty people. No doubt clicking the link to see the video just makes sure your PC is infected. You've shared it now Bob so you're doomed!

Apparently the catch is replying to the contact in the first case, you would never hear the end of it if you paid them off. A program a while ago was talking about people who ended up paying thousands of pounds when there is no way the bastards got control etc of the computer/device in the first place. I have had quite a few of these and it is impossible for the claim to be accurate. I have no web cam. Simples. The shotgun approach to a con trick is obviously lucrative be it bitcoin or filthy lucre. Bin it and forget it.
If you did click on the link you obviously need to peform the usual virus check and consider any deep virus scan software that may be available to you to pick up on key logging etc.

Saw a fella riding one of these on my way home tonight. Not that uncommon round here (riding an unfaired motorcycle in 3.5C I mean!!) but, from what I could make out (dark, raining a bit, traffic) he didn't appear to be wearing any gloves! I reckon he must have been, but white or cream perhaps so not easily visible.
Wouldn't be me, even 20 years younger, that's for sure!!

Just bagged a couple of bargains on ebay in the last few days. Sonos connect for £160 and a Sonos One Gen 2 for £130!
I was after a system for a while, but refuse to pay new price as I think they are too dear. The connect is in the living room as I have a decent setup and it is a very large room and the One is in the kitchen.
Looking to get either another two Ones or a couple of the older Play 1s for other rooms. Quite fancy a soundbar to replace the one in the conservatory, but the price! Possibly better off connecting a second Connect to the aux of the current one.
I was pleasently surprised as to the sound quality - a massive step up from Chromecast which I was using previously.

My wife bought me two Sonus 1 SL's for Christmas but she got a deal at £320 for the pair which I thought was pretty reasonable. I too would like the soundbar but a new TV has to come first.

I’m a Sonos fan. We’ve got a 5, 3 and couple of 1’s spread around the house.
We did look at the two sound bars, but they are expensive for what they deliver and connectivity isn’t great, so I went for a separates system and it’s fantastic.

We bit the bullet and got some 1s. I was impressed when a sales assistant demoed it in the shop, it's hard to believe something so small can kick out so much volume and maintain the quality.

I was referring to the cheaper sound bar!
I'm just going to buy another connect and wire it to the soundbar I have. It is a very slim Yamaha and despite it being reasonably priced, it gives great sound and it is very low profile as the TV stand is also very low profile.

I've got a 3 in the Kitchen a couple of 1's in the study and a playbar in the drawing room. Sonos is great for the ease of quick music but can't replace my 4ft floorstanders and fat Amp just yet in terms of sound quality. I could do with another 3 for the kitchen so the sound is more stereo as one unit is lost in there and one of those bridges seems a great solution to hooking up the old hifi.

Won’t really help you if you want to create a stereo pair, but the 5 is a big step up (sound quality and volume) from the 3, which I don’t think is worth the extra cost over the 1. I’d either get a 5 or pair of 1’s for the kitchen, especially if you’d benefit from having the 3 in another room. Drawing Room.....

Drawing Room..... Quite I'm still really happy with my Naim Muso Qb. I can't afford another one, though! My Eltax floorstanders may make a reappearance this year, once I get some "new" separates to power them.

Did anyone get the email today about legacy products? I can trade up to the new version apparently.
Get fucked. Sonos is shite. Never works without half an hour of pissing around with updates, which is a massive pain in the arse when all you want to do is play some music for your guests.

Yes. As long as the stuff still works how I want it then I don't care. I'll be annoyed if they suddenly say Spotify is no longer compatible, but will deal with that when it happens.

Just had the email and it’s mildly annoying, but I don’t have the same issue as Simon. It always works, maybe because we use at least 2 of them every day?

I plan to deal with it by buying something from a different manufacturer. Ive already ousted Apple from my life and guess what, Sonos, you're next!
