I couldn't resist....but didn't have enough patience to make it perfect. My new Nilfisk workshop vacuum cleaner is great, makes it so quick and easy. Good quality boot carpet, Racing would be very happy.

Can't you get the sides to have the same effect?

Well, at 65mph, le King (the plate starts RO1) was almost the fastest vehicle on the M3 this morning in the tropical monsoon that has kicked off the gold old British summer. The added assurance of AWD was welcome, as was sitting above most of the spray

Two design gripes I have with the Kuga: 1) Whoever designed the touch-sensitive locking/unlocking should be shot. Each time that you wash the car (OK, each time I wash the car) when you/I do the handles and around/underneath them, the doors are locking/unlocking in a continual mad routine as if possessed; 2) Whoever thought that the crusie control switches/buttons needed changing from the previous design of 4-spoke steering wheel to suit the new 3-spoke design should also be shot. There's nothing distinctive in the feel of each button, and they're all push-to-operate whereas the previous design also had a push-pull paddle as part of the mechanism (same wheel as on the C-Max, I believe) and was so much more intuitive to use without looking down at the wheel. I do hope that cost-cutting wasn't the reason for the change.....

Not sure what else they could do with the keyless entry, other than use a button which is a dated / inelegant solution. Mine does the same, but it's a simple to avoid it, don't leave the key in your pocket when you clean the car.

My mother's C Class suffers from the same affliction and, yes, the only way to avoid it is to leave the keys a short distance away.

Something I found on the internet while looking for something else, as it usually goes. Near the end is a robotic road surface repair gadget that looks like it does a much better job than I have seen on our roads anywhere short of replacing the whole surface.

The one good thing about a general election is that there can be no political comment on the radio or TV while the polls are open. So a day of nobody arguing. Perhaps a popular policy would be that this be extended to one week day a week, every week? So giving people one day's peace and one day of something interesting on the radio.

.... it's a simple to avoid it, don't leave the key in your pocket when you clean the car. Then how do you open the bonnet, boot/tailgate and doors to clean the rebate areas? A button to press may not look elegant but it's much, much more effective (for me, anyway)

In this block we received a shed load of rubbish from the limp damps to consider voting for them in prote4st, so THEY can make a difference. After the polls opened.

Unlock the car, open a door, close the same door then put the keys somewhere safe; you can open and close any doors you want without the keyless entry going off every time water touches a door handle - this is how I clean the DS4. Exactly! It's not difficult.

There's a story in the most watched section of the BBC News website titled "Russia tries to shed hooligan image for Confederations Cup" and the image to click on for the link above the headline has a picture of Cristiano Ronaldo
