Email. There is a number to call with a code. It is genuine and makes sense as I had to give them my email to download a brochure a while back.

It's amazing how an evening watching Eurovision can make you feel so much better about Brexit.

Throttle response.... :-)
After we went looking for an A1 last Friday, I drove younger daughter's 2005 Fiesta 1.6 from Basingstoke to Nottingham. What a joy to drive it was, instant throttle response and great performance for a light 1.6 100bhp supermini, even at 12 years old and 60,000 miles on the clock. It will be a shame to see it go; Plan A was that we would swap cars next April-May with her taking GOK from me, and I'd then use her old Fiesta as a "town car"

We have taken our puppy to a various training classes and we recently got invited to another course which was suitable for one of our other dogs too. We contacted the organiser and said we'd bring two dogs. We got an email back with a details attachment and then two copies attached of the same application form, presumably one for each dog. Bless her.

In that case then half the back shift at Pallion nick could be classed as gender fluid judging by their Xmas party photos.

Going to be a bitch to email him or her. I think this is ridiculous, and having two identities associated with one badge number is asking for complications further down the line.

Don't let old people use Google. Our metallurgist, who is 70, has been trying buy train tickets from redspottedhanky.com. He's managed to Google Red Hot and Spanky. He's now been sent to canteen for soothing cup of tea and I've had to delete his entire internet browsing history.

During the day I periodically look at the BBC news website to check the news, business news and F1. It's been mildly depressing today to note that Katie Hopkins, putting it politely a controversial media commentator, has parted company with some radio station and that has been the most read story for most of the day.
Meanwhile, as usual, important things are happening elsewhere but apparently are of little interest.

I think LBC are making quite a profile for themselves of late, especially since they put Nigel Farage on the air every evening and started showing up the maths skills of politicians. Not surprised they sacked her for her 'final solution' tweet.

These days, are locking wheel bolts any practical deterrent? Isn't it just as easy to use ordinary bolts/nuts on all wheel fixings?

I'm sure that if she smacks it into whatever she hit previously, it will come off quite easily!

Even more worrying is the fact that all the other nuts have been removed already and the wheel is still on the ground.

And by "a bold wheel nut", I presume she means "bald"*. By which I guess she means it is smooth on the outside. Which it woud be. Dimwit.
* using the word "bold" to mean "bald" is right up there with "of" instead of "have".

I assume you mean cars with plates from the Republic as opposed to N.Irish registrations. I was over there a while back and was also doing some work in Dublin. The hire car I was given at Belfast International had RoI plates and appeared to have been sitting around for a while as the Hertz representative said they'd been waiting for someone to deliver it back to Dublin airport for them!

No, cars with plates from our side of the water of which there are a lot more than plates from the Republic. As an example, I was following a Macan GTS this morning and it was on a 66 registration, with Porsche Belfast on the bottom of the plates.

Aren't newer NI plates the same format as ours, with the first 2 letters deniting the region, eg BE66ABC being Belfast or something like that?
