Saw a (57A) bus in the old Glasgow Corporation colour scheme earlier, not a million miles away from this .. ..
There have been rumblings of First wanting to get shot of the Glasgow operation; maybe a return to the council buses? We'll see I suppose, though they're a bit strapped for cash at the minute!
That colour liveried bus trundles past my office on a regular basis. I saw it twice last week. Apparently it's the 125th anniversary of public transport, and lots of companies are replicating liveries of times gone by in 'celebration'.

I had to go to a supplier in the centre of Brizzle yesterday. Primarily as they had no guaranteed parking I decided to go by train. Bearing in mind it was a week day, the cost of the return ticket straight through from my almost-closest-to-home train station to Temple Meads was just under £150 return ! (and that's standard class, not First Class). Do I did the "usual" via the travel website that my employer directs that we use.... return as far as Didcot Parkway (just over £18) then return from Didcot Parkway to Temple Meads for £42.50.
Total: about one third of the cost of the through ticket. And we're told that the train companies are supposed to be offering us the cheapest tickets at all times......

It’s the same with the East Coast trains, I go to Leeds quite often and you can get tickets from Kings Cross for less than £20 each way. Book them from Billingshurst and it’s over £100. Given that the single fair to London in the morning is £24 I just book the ECML section and buy my ticket to Victoria on the day.

I have finally managed to rid my life of Apple stuff. Everything is migrated over to Windows and Android/Google and I have deactivated my two apple ID and all music is now with Spotify. I found an online app to migrate playlists which was handy. I was going to stay with Apple Music, but the Android app is too buggy to put up with as a serious long term prospect and streaming anything from it was difficult.

I’ve always had iPhones, but my contract is up in Oct and I’m tempted to look elsewhere , although the XR does look tempting . I use Spotify, and I have a HP all in one computer . The only other apple product is an iPad that we just use for general browsing

I've got a Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Obviously I got it before Trump banned them. It's great - Leica camera especially, but I will probably get something else when the contract is up in a couple of years due to impending lack of Google app store on future models.

It's obviously very tragic about the lady that was killed in London last week on a e-scooter that was in collision with a lorry. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-48968912But as far as I'm aware, e-scooters are illegal to ride on the roads or pavement. But that hardly seems to get a mention.

People are still unaware of the limitations in vision and maneuverability of wagons, they fail to make allowances and that is the definition of driving without due care and attention. It also seems that ?celebrity? is no suit of armour.
Hopefully folk will learn something from this but, I suspect not.

I hope my neighbour has rented this thing or will be storing it elsewhere.... at least I can only see it from my office (1st floor) window, others are not so lucky. He's got 3 x parking places as he doesn't use the garage and already has a 740Ld, Q8 and Mustang so he doesn't really have space for it. Not even sure what it is!
