Sounds cheap to me. £3.60 for a real ale or Carlsberg at our local. I don't know how much San Miguel is. The Baa is £3 a pint for standard beer and lager. And me. Becks is normally around £4 in the privately owned boozers. Say what you want about Weatherspoons, but under £3.50 for Stella/Kronenbourg, under £3 for Carling/Carlsberg/Coors and under £2 for the likes of Sharpes Doom/JohnSmiths is bloody good value. I used to work in Spoons and whatever else you think of them, they do serve good beer and look after it well in decent cellars. I still eat their food too as I know they source it well especially their meat.

I’ve just reviewed a new starter approval request for our site in Warrington, Mr Liam Gallagher. Assuming it’s not the famous one, I wonder how he feels about his name?!

It's graduation season up here in sunny Dundee. That means City Square becomes a battleground of orange people, massive fake eyelashes, inappropriately short skirts and platform shoes with massive heels that leave the wearer tottering about like an out of control Thunderbird character. And that's just the mums, the various daughters REALLY go for it. It's a freakshow I tells ya There only appears to be one uniform for the dads - sober coloured business suit.

Misreading the label when you are in hurry. The 0.2m iphone charging cable that I thought I bought yesterday turns out to be 2m. Now every time I get up from my desk I trip over the bloody cable as it hangs on the floor......

I've just completed my expenses for June and it didn't balance with my records, the answer is the mileage rate for the BMW has gone back up to 22p. Then I added up my fuel receipts and it didn't quite cover the claim. Thanks to the rate increase and the BMWs cost per mile for June being 17.3p (I claim 22p), I've made £103 profit. Lovely.

I saw a businessman (well, I'm giving him the benefit here) in Tesco at lunchtime and he had a wool coat on over his suit. I know today hasn't been as warm, until now at least, but I think he must've got confused this morning.

Yesterday I had to make a supplier visit to Avonmouth. As we finished just before 1pm and there was no lunch offered, I took the opportunity to head for a nearby cafe I had researched, located almost alongside this: Been wanting to get there since the museum opened last October, and to get the mileage paid for my the firm was a bonus ! On the "exposed" side there is a continual projection of a documentary, hence the funny images/lines on the fuselage

Still looks futuristic too. Though that probably says more about how boringly similar modern passenger jets are tbh!

It is beautiful.
Mind you when you get inside one - such as at East Fortune - you're quickly reminded that it is 1960s technology. Plus it is tiny inside and even a shorty like me has to duck to get in the door.

We passed the signs to Filton on our way to Cornwall in May and I thought "I must get to visit". There is quite a lot of other stuff there as well as Concorde.... a Harrier, a couple of helicopters, part of a Britannia, other bits and pieces aerospacebristol.org/plus re-admission up to a year after purchase of initial ticket so long as you bring photo ID and your original ticket. Not sure if this is just one re-visit or unlimited

Argos, as with a lot of stuff they reduce dramatically, are out of stock.
CUrrys are just as bad TBH, I;m sure that they lower the price when they want a clear-out, but having sold out they then do not remove the item from the website or revert the price to previous. It's highly frustrating finding an ad for something you want at a great price, only to discover that there aren't actually any available for sale any more

Saw a (57A) bus in the old Glasgow Corporation colour scheme earlier, not a million miles away from this .. ..
There have been rumblings of First wanting to get shot of the Glasgow operation; maybe a return to the council buses? We'll see I suppose, though they're a bit strapped for cash at the minute!

That colour liveried bus trundles past my office on a regular basis. I saw it twice last week.
