Did you mean to put that in the 'Not Wanted' thread or has your account been hacked? It's vile. I'm slightly disappointed, I was expecting something lime green with a scarlet interior. This just looks like a grey 3 series estate to me. What's so vile about it?

Full Barry on that 3er! I, on the other hand, have been ogling this: finder.porsche.com/gb/en_GB/Panamera-GTS-Sport-Turismo-314348I can’t understand how it’s had three owners in 9k miles. 1 dealer, one first customer sale, then the third one. I assume either the first customer or his successor didn’t like it much.

There are a few really nice Turbo Sport Turismos in budget now, just a shame it’s a couple of years before I won’t need such a big car, otherwise I’d be very tempted.

I’m struggling to de-plate the Alpina at the moment so am having to do it manually by post. Then it tells me it needs new brake fluid and I’m waiting for a comfort door handle repair. It’s not going quietly.

No. We had a trip away after Easter and everyone remembered what a nice car it is when I don’t drive like a loon. However it is going before the next car is decided on finally but it will be a phev.

I’ve got a few on the Official used site. I like that green.

I’ve got a few on the Official used site. I like that green. Only problem with the hybrid is the boot space is small for an estate, iirc it’s 420 litres which isn’t much more than a small Golf size hatchback and even small estate like the Golf has just over 600 litres. It’s no different in the 530e estate though, so not something you can avoid if you want a hybrid and kids do need less stuff as they get older, it’s having to carry a pushchair and travel cot that takes up a lot of space.

If he bought that from Synters and spent nearly £70k on it overall, why didn't he just buy an Alpina in the first place? I just laugh at people who spend all that money barrying their car and then think that it adds to the resale value. It anything he's devalued it.

£15k above average? Who on earth is going to pay that?

Why a PHEV? I was of the view that if you don't get the company car tax benefits, there isn't much point? This caught my eye: www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-spottedykywt/one-off-spyker-c8-spyder-for-sale/44072

Pointless Having Electric Vehicles

Oh I can see the point of having an entirely electric vehicle - for example, it would enable us to drive around central London without paying £15/day for the privilege (albeit only until 2025), but a PHEV doesn't have that benefit.

The 8mpg for the majority of our driving is one reason, allied to the fact that our other driving doesn’t lend itself to an all-electric car either. That said a less thirsty petrol would do just as much overall.

One of our neighbours, who is 80, albeit a very elegant and well preserved 80, drives a silver XK of that shape (albeit pre-facelift). Don’t know what year it is as she has a private plate, but it makes the most gloriously deep and rich woofle and burble. Sounds insanely good even being driven as sedately as you’d expect an 80yr lady to drive.

Make mine a 5.0 in last-off-the-line “Artisan” trim if anyone’s offering...

Given the state of the passenger seat leather in photo 13 I'm somewhat suspicious that there are no photos of the driver's seat that include the bolster. Mine has done 83k and the leather is in much better condition. Still, it's nice to see another one that doesn't have pimp glass.
