That's not really black - it's Carbon Black, which I have. It's really a very dark midnight blue. Much nicer than normal black. That’s partly why it’s one of the better options!

That is lovely. Is there no classic car exemption from the ULEZ?

Tracks the VED exemption. So currently pre-1980.

Yep: they're the ones worth buying as a keeper.

Very lovely.
Aren't prices for these still all over the place, e.g. the best of the best at £50k but pretty reasonable ones for £10k.

Hard-pressed to get a decent late one for £10k these days.

It's basically brand new but pre registered. They have to keep it for 3 months before it can be sold and if it was registered to meet target, chances are it would have been at the end of the month so another two weeks to go but in the meantime they are hoping a fool comes along looking to be parted with his cash. I don't think you'd get a basically new 440i for £31/£32K but I would expect that car will sell for high £30K's when they sweeten someone's PCP trade in.

That looks something of a bargain. I can give you some stain blocker for the seats. It lasts 6 months and really works.

No ta. I'd probably go for this and spend some of the saving on more attractive alloys. Mind you that one doesn't have the Harman Kardon stereo upgrade which would probably rule it out.

It has the HK branded speakers in the front doors.

Personally I can't stand the combination of red leather and aluminium-look trim. I can just about do aluminium-look trim with black or dark blue leather, but pretty much nothing else.

I saw that car but you can get a serious dose of FG for not much more money and I am sure that you would enjoy the extras when you have them.

To me the red/aluminium combo has a classic, 1950s, look about it. Mine is red/aluminium but with a black dash. The red dash does make it slightly less attractive but I tend to look out of the windscreen most of the time so I think I could put up with it

I agree and have noticed the price of 340/440s has come down quite sharply in the last 6 months so when I do actually get to the point of buying there will be a decent selection with plenty of FG. Ideally I'd want an estate but what are the chances of getting a black one with red leather AND electric seats? At least you can guarantee the 4 series will have the seats.

Our Fiat 500 has a cream and red interior.

We walked past a 135i in that orange yesterday and I remarked how I liked it only to get a negative reaction from Mrs. Sacamano. But she has no taste and drives a pearlescent white Qashqai.

The orange one looks nicely specced but it's in the wrong colour. Friends would think I owned a tanning salon.

Eastern BMW have a 6000 mile 68 plate M4 Comp in Champagne Quartz (a nice colour which looks great when shiny but also takes dirt well!). It's up at £42,990

Prefer this one - similar age and mileage and ok the colour isn't as interesting but it's got proper full leather, a sunroof, the Icon headlights and a host of other extra FG for slightly less money: usedcars.bmw.co.uk/vehicle/202001166238983?
