Not the best photos, but you get the idea: Roue SSD One: Roue HDS One: LIV Rebel DDC: Farer Frobisher II: Seiko SKX013: The Farer remains my favourite but I like them all!

Number two for me, I think. Still keep checking the LIV site - will get one of the GX1 series at some point. For some reason, I am picturing you changing watch and top between photos to get the best co-ordination!

Number two for me, I think. They're all Number 2's for me which just goes to show how we have individual tastes ! Sorry but none of them appeals to me I prefer this ^ for under £30 made from a special grade of stainless steel that weights very little (possibly "reinforced" with sawdust.....)

Changing outfits to go with each watch is a lot of effort to go to for us!

too bad you didn't get a Casio Calculator watch to please Chris That wouldn't please me ! My eyesight is such that I probably wouldn't be able to read the display even with specs on. I have a "dead range" where I can't see things clearly, really annoying when trying to read small instruction labels on the side of smoke alarms when you're balancing at the top of a set of steps....... sometimes I end up taking a photo on my mobile phone, coming down to the ground and reading by means of enlarging the photo on the phone screen. May as well use technology to my best advantage

Roue and Farer are my favourites and I suspect I will fall further down the slippery slope with these two brands. In fact, Farer have just released a new Quartz Flyback Chronograph range, which I think is lovely: farer.com/collections/all-watches/movement-quartzI'd take the Ainsdale rather than the Pendine, and fear that my savings might end up getting raided again soon!

Watch on the right wrist, tut. I'm left-handed, and have always naturally worn a watch on my right wrist without even thinking about it

I remember a teacher at school who had a left handed wristwatch with the crown on the left. He also had one that worked anti clockwise.

Me too - I've tried wearing the watch on my right wrist, but it just feels weird. At least one of us is weird See my comment above! Surely the crown/adjuster thingy is always on the right so it can be operated without removing the watch from your left arm?

Good to hear that they are well-made etc. My will power is fading on the one I like... Do it, do it, do it.etc. I decided I preferred the black watchface and silicone strap, and they got down to the last one available yesterday- so I 'had' to buy it.

Well done. Look forward to seeing a picture of it and hearing your impressions.
I have bought the new Farer Ainsdale, it arrived om Monday. It's a very clever watch in terms of its functionality and given that it's an analogue watch. I still think the Frobisher II is visually more appealing, but the Ainsdale is remarkable.

Paid a little extra for 3-5 day delivery - is there a customs charge when they arrive?
I sold my original TAG on eBay last week - I know I was never going to wear it again so got rid of as part of a clearout.

I sold my original TAG on eBay last week - I know I was never going to wear it again so got rid of as part of a clearout. There wasn't on mine. The invoice that came with it had quoted the price as being something like $95, rather than the price actually paid. I had to confirm with FedEx by email that the item was as described in the documentation and I told them it was a wristwatch. What model of TAG was it that you sold? How old was it and roughly how much did it sell for?

It was a Kirium, got just under £200 for it (good nick but not refurbished, only one spare link and battery changed locally, not by TAG). Could have held out for more, but I prefer to get stuff sold quickly and painlessly. Have you sold much on eBay? Age I'd be guessing, but at least 15 years.

Really slim and light, titanium eco-drive by Citizen. Was £229, reduced by £100. Bought last Saturday when I was out on a random day trip whilst the Fiesta was being serviced and I'm very pleased with it. In fact I hardly remember that it's on my wrist as it is so light !

Having changed my iPhone for a Huawei Android phone, I am awaiting a Huawei watch GT free of charge. It looks pretty smart - I will see how it compares to the Garmin Fenix 5X.
