Is winter back again? The heating just came on so I checked the thermostat and it's set on 10°!

Both rears had large inside wall bulges, we reckon it was from the weight of the batteries in the boot

Is winter back again? The heating just came on so I checked the thermostat and it's set on 10°! I was in a hotel just outside Rotherham this morning ready for a tri-party meeting nearby. It was foggy when I woke; when we got to the nearby factory (second party), the third party had also driven up from Surrey yesterday and he said there was snow on the ground of the car park outside the hotel where he stayed last night........ So looks like winter returned to Yorkshire on Monday-Tuesday !

It doesn't have the excuse of battery weight but there ARE a lot of really shit roads round here so its clearly down to potholes.

Mrs P bought me a down jacket for my birthday in February and I didn't think I'd get much use out of it until next winter but I'm still wearing it in May!

It was bloody freezing in our house this morning. Getting the Potenzas fitted a week today. Latest I've ever left the tyre swap but that's down to time rather than weather.

The C350e is very close to weight limits which won't have helped but speedbumps and potholes also a factor - I couldn't have certain options due to the weight (towbar or pano roof) changing the wheels to 18'' to cope with the heft!
1 front tyre was replaced with a new hankook post accident last November - this matched everything else I went in regarding the other front tyre (30k on them) wearing on the edges and argued for a replacement it was then we noticed the inside rear tyres bulges so 3 replacement tyres ordered - premium authorised so not hankook
I thought I was getting 3 Contis but they ordered/sent the wrong speed rating/size for the front (they are different on the C350e) so I ended up with a Bridgestone on the front with the quote of they are all designed to work together......Not my money so no say in the matter

That's all that the lease / companies care about.

But it's like wearing odd shoes! It genuinely upsets me...

We care, so we'd not want to do odd tyres on an axle.

Finally! Got the S001s back on and a Hunter alignment. Car feels fantastic and the grip from the tyres is brilliant. Better steering feel too.

Great news Stu, nothing like having summer tyres back on after winters. Like the car has come alive again
