I was walking back to the car at the weekend and noticed something hanging down, inside the nearside rear wheel. I wasn't dressed for lying on the ground but I managed to get my hand in and give it a pull - it didn't move. I took a photo to see if it was any clearer - it wasn't.
When I was home, I got my old clothes on and wriggled under and found a torch which was pretty well jammed. The last time I was in the dealers was in November and it amazes me that this has managed to stay in place since then or potentially from before that. To cap it all, it still works!

Not quite but I got £200 of credit to play with and a torch all within a day which is better than average!

Give the dealership a ring and see if they can shed any light on it?

From the first pic it looks like you may have a free coathanger too.
