So, sadly another Red Arrows Hawk is lost with an engineer dead. Bloody sad tbh. Never good to hear of this sort of thing just like the multi car smashes of a while ago. Why oh why do the news folk camp out in front of the base for? Can they give information there the studio cannot? Do we need to see an airbase to get some kind of 'feel' for the report? No and yet they still do it. A bit like letting us see what the see looks like when rough which means the reporters get as close as they can to the waves crashing over the see wall. Exxxageration and overly reporting seems to be something they want to increase. Bloody annoyed of it all tbh. I know, coat in hand.

You're right - been looking at some of the reports this morning, it seems that the next of kin of the deceased have asked for 24 hours privacy before the name is announced yet some journos are over-eager to find and publicise the name ignoring those wishes.
Seems the jet took off and was heading back to its base at Scampton but promptly turned around and headed back to the runway at Anglesey

Totally agree - I guess there is just a culture of "we can't let our rivals find out anything before us"
