I'm pretty sure the Mokka will not last too long under PSA as the Crossland (that is based on a PSA platform) seems to be the same price range. Well apparently it’s being kept in because the platform for the Crossland doesn’t allow 4wd. So the crossland is only for those who want to look like they want to go off road whereas the Mokka allows you to actually go off road - though it’s probably best if Ian doesn’t accept Mark’s invite to join him for a spot of green laning! Ive had several Mokka’s from Enterprise when I’ve been on business in Scotland and N. Ireland so I think it’s their car of choice rather than an upgrade. I must admit I’ve never much liked it though. It’s ok to a point but not with the hire car spec 1.6 NA petrol I was one given. It only had a 5 speed box and was pulling almost 3000rpm on the motorway and making a bloody racket of it too. Sooner do that in the Mokka than my Legacy to be honest! This 1.4T has a 6-speed box, but it's still bloody noisy! Got mine back today; nearside rear caliper was seized, offside wasn't far off - new discs and pads, but the rumbling' noise is still there!

That sounds like a bearing or CV joint.

That sounds like a bearing or CV joint. Yes indeed, almost certainly is a bearing. Just have to live with it for now, get it done at the 120K service in a few weeks and drive it sparingly in the meantime. Well, it's either that or simply not insure it .. .. ..
