Outside the office this morning a Mondeo hit the speed bump/raised pedestrian crossing at the entrance to our road and pretty quickly came to a stop with his left wheel pointing left and his right wheel pointing right. The Landcruiser is parked on double yellows and the space between is only large enough for small cars! On a daily basis I hear several cars scrape the front of their cars on the useless raised section - usually the clueless kind of driver who never slows down for speed bumps and then wonders why they are wearing their Starbucks Latte.

Councils, always enough tarmac for speedbumps, but never enough for potholes.

How badly maintained must that Mondeo have been to pop both track rod ends?!

It has now left the scene on the back of a tow truck.

Councils, always enough tarmac for speedbumps, but never enough for potholes. So true.

How badly maintained must that Mondeo have been to pop both track rod ends?! Is it bad of me that I’ve looked at those wheels and concluded that the answer to your question is rather badly indeed? Probably never serviced and thrown about the place as if it’s stolen or being used as a getaway car.

Also - how bad must that driver's eyesight and or attention be to hit it that hard!
