Do worry that its grill isn't big enough and it hasn't got enough horizontal lines all over the rear to be successful in today's market.

Massive improvement. A styling revolution for the brand.

What's going on with the front grille - looks like an un-marked police-car with those two blanked out areas?

The basic shape's not unpleasant, but as with so many things these days it's the overly fussy details and styling that I can't warm to.

'New' as only Audi and BMW can define the word.

It will look much better with the black pack, as all Audi’s and Mercedes do.

I still love the original A6, seen here as an S6. The curve of bootlid, shape of rear lights and of the panels around the wheels looked (and still look) great to me.

I thought the original A6 was a rebadged Audi 100?

Wow! That is a radical difference. I'll not mistake that for the old one. No sir. Not me. Never.....

Like all Audi designs at that time - clean, no fancy pointless details, smooth. It looks better than the current design to my eye. And in those days, it was still possible to tell the difference between an A4 / A6 / A8 without having to get close enough to read the badge. Progress eh??

Are we looking at the same pictures ? - I think that looks fantastic, particularly that red car from the rear 3/4s.
As for the interior - wow, the tech and craftsmanship is off the charts awesome for the class.

Your going a bit far there but I do love the near box arches and apart from the grille its a handsome thing.
Its hardly revolutionary but what else were we expecting from Audi. Its a lot better looking than the new 5 series and XF.
