I had a Kia Sportage 1.6 courtesy car recently with a mid 10's 0-60 time, but it was the most utterly gutless car I have driven in many years. Constantly having to drop one or two gears just to maintain progress, with overtaking very much a downhill only activity.

Autocar verdict: 3.5/5. I can't help noticing that the interior, electric handbrake aside, is lifted straight out of the much older Leon circa 2013.
