I do struggle to care about these sorts of stripped and striped specials. Not to come over all John McDonnell in my middle age but they are only relevant to a very small number of very rich people who will primarily buy them with one eye on future value.
I dare say they drive like a dream, but since I can really only ever dream about driving one, I simply can't get very interested. Possibly not helped by the fact that I find the stripped/striped aesthetic a tad tasteless.

That sums it up pretty perfectly - only of interest to those who already have several more normal daily ones tucked up in a garage somewhere

That's almost gone Lamborghini. Which is fine for Lamborghini but not Ferrari.

Was it the 550 Maranello when Ferrari ditched timeless elegance? The Superfast is a good looking car in the right spec but it’s not beautiful like a Daytona. The Portofini is quite pretty but would be substantially more so with a fixed roof. I really want Ferrari to start making cars to covert rather than just admire.

I think you mean covet rather than covert but I agree the elegance has gone from a lot of motors. Too many gobby fronts for a start but aero and 'styling' are king now. That and money over taste.

That's how I feel a Ferrari should be. Elegant, pretty. I guess the competition forces them away from that, ultimately, but they need to retain some of that DNA. Lamborghini on the other hand should be brash, shouty and OTT.

Aero ain't pretty, just look at the Senna to evidence that. And to be the best in its class you need aero. I guess going forward pretty Ferraris should have a Maserati badge on their nose. 80's Ferraris were pretty but also pretty crap.

I think you mean covet rather than covert I did and what's more I wrote that. I wish Apple products would stop retrospectively changing words to what they think you mean!

My wife was quite amused last night when I texted her to say that I had just called an aubergine and would be home in 15 mins.

The wonder of tech's. Are they not fantastic, thankfully I do not use most of them. As a Trekkie I should but it just seems so wrong.
