Well if you’re ever upset at anything said on here pop over to one of the private investor comment boards (ADFN or LSE and their ilk) or a Twitter #tag for a share name and see how online brutality is done properly. If any of these guys ever had a forum meet it would be a major police incident.
I never comment and pay visits to see what others are saying about stocks I’m either in or looking at. Some people are clearly dreamers, talking up stocks in moondust like they’re the next Microsoft; some are brutal profit seekers that would sell on a 0.001% fall and some simply slag off other investors’ opinions and look like they’ve not got an interest in the stocks they’re commenting on.
I like them because they make me laugh out loud quite a lot.

Sounds like fun. Hopefully there will be a block function so people who don’t like being challenged when they’re on the wrong can retreat to their safe space.

I truly wish I had the mind to understand investments so I could perhaps do something with part of my savings (it would be in very small way) , but unfortunately I find it truly mind numbing.

My dad had a knack for making good investments and I feel like I am letting him down by not investing some of what he left me, to get a good return on it. If only returns on savings accounts would return to 7% or thereabouts.......

I used to spend a while each day in the LSE forums and as BB says they're always good for a laugh although if its popular you may have to back a few pages to see what comments are referring to.
The comment sections on BBC news stories can be a gold mine for laughter too - there a re a lot of stupid, intolerant people in the world.
