Can you raise the clear part of the visor on its own to aid airflow/prevent misting or does the "chin bit" always go with it?

Nice, I guess helmets are a case of go for the most expensive you can afford/justify. I'm always surprised how many helmets there are on the market for £60

Can you raise the clear part of the visor on its own to aid airflow/prevent misting or does the "chin bit" always go with it? I can't see the pics here, but knowing it's a bike helmet means the visor can be raised separately from the chin piece.

Can you raise the clear part of the visor on its own to aid airflow/prevent misting or does the "chin bit" always go with it? The most un-biker question ever. Yes, the visor flips open when the chin bar is down. In reality you're not supposed to ride with the chin bar up as Neotec is not certified as Open and Closed faced for riding: it's for eating, talking and smoking. There are a couple of lids out there that are certified for both. Regarding misting, there is a PinLock system inside the clear visor that acts as double glazing and you can wear the helmet visor down on a cold day and breathe normally without misting. They always fail on my helmets as I ride with the chin bar open too much and the PinLock fails. Retail is £599; I paid £399.

That's mine. Takes pride of place in the corner of my office and scares the cleaner or anyone who goes in there.

To be fair, any driving I do is in a plain white Arai helmet provided by the company.
