These are going for £16k ish on the owners forums, and I'd reckon on well sub £15 as a trade-in, but this one is 2 years older than mine (in plates anyway), worse spec (with chrome grille and wood interior making it look quite non-R) and similar mileage but not asking much less than I paid 3 years ago. I do wonder what these sorts of cars actually go for - the one make specialists often rival the very most expensive main dealers, without the backup. Birds are the same for BMW, as are the Alfa crew I used - once - near Newbury... It's so easy to find a much cheaper one online these days, who pays these prices? I'm assuming they won't haggle £6k off!!! www.swallows-jag.co.uk/cars-for-sale/2009-jaguar-xfr-5-0-supercharged-v8

That price does seem bonkers for that age. Parkers reckon it is worth way less then that, but I've always found that dealers price cars way over what Parkers say that they ought to. But that trade ins are usually there or thereabouts - so people want much higher margins than Parkers seem to be suggesting. Some of the other stuff at Swallows does not look stupidly over-priced - so maybe XFR's are worth way more than we expect! We can but hope....

But then that generation of XF always does.
