A Twisted version is about the same price. It’s at this point a Mercedes G Wagon and Bentley truck look good value.

This is a superb business model for Land Rover ;-) As given enough years, they will be able to buy in every Defender and then resell them for a second time at way higher values. And then maybe a third time when they start to convert them to electric or fuel cell. A never ending business model. Pretty clever really. Take that you pathetic Germans with your crappy G Class imposter.
That V8 Defender does look a great piece of work.
But in all seriousness, I'd love to have a JLR Heritage division fettled vehicle. But I suspect getting any work done their is eye wateringly expensive. A rebuilt XJC, or a RR Classic perhaps..... lottery win required.

Apart from ego and another way of saying "Look at my wad", after a certain amount of power pr ton of weight you are pissing in the wind. Usability should be key rather than bragging rights and a 4 or six cylinder will be a better bet power to weight wise.

They're not new vehicles but buy-backs less than 4 years old and under 20k on the clock of the original engine (which will obviously be taken out as part of the work).
For people with more money than sense ??
