A good dent removal guy will sort that cheaply.

And because unless you park as far away as you can (which I tend to do), someone will always park right next to you - however many spaces there are. Always! Despite doing that, the Golf picked up a dent in the near side rear door when it was only two weeks old. The paint didn’t chip thankfully and it’s not hugely noticeable, but I know it’s there and you can see it fairly clearly when the light catches the side as it’s on the crease in the metal. I had a tiny one inflicted upon one of my Golf’s rear doors. It’s not just a Golf thing though, the Insignia suffered the same at the hands of some careless fuckwit. It won’t affect the end of lease inspection as it’s well within the limits of fair wear and tear but it’s annoying because now I know it’s there I can’t un-see it!

For some reason the BMW has three vertical crease dents in the passenger front door (and none elsewhere) which is odd for a car that spends 90% of its time parked alone in our private drive with only the foxes for company. I am at a slight loss at to why - my wife swears it's not her being careless getting out.
Also just dealt with the renewal of the multicar policy on our two cars, which is due mid-month.
Our renewal price initially came in at £740 (£193 for the Fiat and £546 for the BMW) vs £651 last year (£200 for the Fiat and £451 the BMW).
A telephone call got that back down to £630 (£161 for the Fiat and £468 for the BMW), which seemed actually quite reasonable when viewed in light of the rather eye-watering quotes I was getting on the comparison sites.

New bike; new insurance. The old policy provider wouldn't simply extend me to the end of the year so a re quote. The broker: £1,100. It was £230 last year for the Black Whanger. OK, the new bike is newer and more stealable but less powerful and this all including 3 points obtained for not obeying a traffic light in July. Online requote from provider I was with a couple of years ago: £396 for full 12 months.
Are these people deliberately cuntish?
