I quite like that. I doubt it'll crack two seconds when the magazines get their mitts on it, but at least Tesla has understood that to wean people off petrol you have to be more than just worthy.

I imagine the high pitched whine of the electric motors will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up as much as the scream of a 12 cylinder DOHC 48valve petrol engine would.

After all one of the reasons people buy sports cars is the "look at me; hear my exhaust" factor. I'm being an idiot on purpose: I can see the inevitability of non-petrol cars in the future but I'm not ready to accept it just yet. Anyway, there'll always be some redneck in an F-150 no matter what.... |

I really like the look of this although it's way too expensive for most people - probably a good thing because roads full of those things with muppets at the wheel would just be carnage.

I prefer the look of that Elise thing they did years ago. Can't get excited about electric cars and this isn't doing anything for me either. I am aware I'm a luddite.
