So for £30k of your English Pounds more than the M3 Competition Package you get:
Weighs 10kg less
Gets to 60mph 0.1 sec faster
Extra 10 bhp
You have got to hand it to BMW, they know how to shake down their punters.

Would perhaps explain the soundtrack.

I like it but not the price. +1 Its not “nearly £30k” more than an M3 Competition Package though. Assuming it’s only available with a DCT gearbox, it’s £22k more and has a better level of standard equipment. Add full leather, proper LED lights and the HK stereo to the standard car and the gap narrows to about £19k. Still a big gap, but a lot less that is being quoted. |

What it will be is the one worth 3x more than a straight stock-M3 in 20 years time. The twat that buys it new is the financial mug but at least they’ll know only they’ve ragged its arse off.
