So the nice folk at Williams F1 Team could not be bothered to formalise Felipe's status for 2018, bad manners and spiting their nose etc. The man came out of retirement to help the team and this is their thanks? It is not as if Stroll has shown him the way home this season. Going to miss that guy next year.

I guess he's had his time and has always been quick but no superstar. I assume Massa new at the start of the season it was a one year gig with the option of a longer contract if nobody better came along. I assume Di Restas cheaper and Kubica a far more exciting prospect.

Massa has had a charmed life in F1, serious injury included. The next generation need to come through and teams like Williams and McLaren should be able to bring drivers through, not cash cows.
I'm going to watch the Brazilian GP at Williams HQ this weekend. Should be emotional.

I hope he gets a decent result as I think he retired from what WAS his last Brazilian GP, until it wasn't anyway. Di Resta or Robert K would be interesting but no way of knowing who it will be. I wish Williams had been a bit more up front rather than waiting for the contract to expire but then again, Williams have never been exactly emotional train wrecks when it comes to drivers.

Williams don't exactly have a reputation of looking after their drivers.....
Damon Hill..... Nigel Mansell (whose contract they failed to extend after he won the F1 Driver's title, so he buzzed off to do Indy Cars and won in his rookie season becoming the first, and possibly only person, to ever be F1 and Indycar champion at the same time), Alan Jones.....

Keke also left due to a disrespect issue. They’re an engineering company: the driver is the bit of jelly in the middle of the car. Honda Racing (bikes) are no different: “you’re only good, round eyes, because our bikes are....”
