Almost looks like it could be a modern interpretation of a Toyota 2000, but I think aside from the overly bulbous rear window, it looks great

I think that the front looks rather muscle car, in a good way.

The front end looks a bit overdone to my eyes.

I'm seeing a lot of Toyota S2000.

It looks great and I'd love to see a return to the 1990s Japanese manufacturer production sports car escalation that gave us the Mitsubishi 3000GT, the bat-shit mental be-winged Supra, the mini V6 FTO and iterations of the Skyline, all played out in the EV format.
However this Honda: is it just me but do Honda look like a company that wants to be at the forefront of technology and daring design that then shits out at the last minute? Their replacement Fireblade to meet the challenge of the BMW 1000RR was at least 2 years too late; the CR-Z was marketed with all the enthusiasm of selling luke warm semolina pudding to alco-pop loving teenagers (when if it had an auto box FFS I'd have had W2.0 in one long ago!) and the attempt to make the Civic appeal to the younger market has simply resulted in a car that the youth laugh at and the aged run away from.
In short Honda will never make this car or one like it but I hope Toyota or Mitsubishi make some attempt at something similar as they will likely have a crack at putting it into production.

Isn't that just the Urban EV Concept after a elephant sat on it?

That is really nice, but you know that on past form Honda will bottle it and even if they do produce something along those lines, they'll be unable to resist adding lots of crappy details.
