The Yellow one above looks great. Unfortunately I clicked on the link to show the other angles and am far less impressed.

I think the side profile is great and thankfully the front grills no longer look as though they have been snorting something they shouldn't. The rear end is a bit boring but I reckon that will sell by the bucket load and I quite like it.

Profile is OK, other angles less so. How is this in any way 'bold'?

I reckon that will sell by the bucket load It has the magic badge and SUV looks so of course it will - nothing else will matter to 90% of the buyers. Not very keen myself.

Apart from the badge there is very little that says 'BMW' about that, in fact from the rear it looks a lot like something that has escaped my mind.
As others have said though the badge will sell it.

So where exactly does this sit in the product line?? Is it a sort of BMW Captur or GLA - effectively a high-riding hatchback?
The two-tone version looks immeasurably better than the colour-coded one, but I do not like that upside-down kidney grille one bit.

It's the today's world's coupé version of the X1 which itself is the GLA rival.

Alternatively, an old Mitsubishi Lancer, or perhaps a Colt CZC

Looks ugly at the front, and the roundels on the rear pillars made me think of the way that Ford used to stick Ghia badges in similar places on their models in the 70's and 80's.....

I hadn't noticed those.
Is that an admission that it looks like it could be from pretty much anyone else and is an attempt to remind buyers/viewers that they're actually looking at a 'premium' German marque?
Racing, I think you'd have to squint so much that your eyes were shut to see the rear view as a 156 Sportwagon

I think from the rear it resembles this or this, I don't dislike that, front looks very nice but I could not live with the grey plastic bodywork trim, that looks wrong, black is better.

I think that looks really good, well proportioned. I like the front styling above that of the X1 or X3. I too saw the 156 Sportwagon in the rear styling and none the worse for that.

That's going to kick the Q2 even farther into the weeds sales-wise than it already is. And makes the GLA even more bloated than it is.
I like that - it seems to balance the various BMW design parameters and the crossover look pretty well.

Good in parts, and I suspect it will be a very colour and trim-sensitive design.

Looks good in the pic at the top, but that's the only one where it does. Rather Jag shaped from the side mefinks. Definitely better looking than the Q2/Q3, but that's not saying much!
