I do not, as a general rule, go a bundle on recent Lexus cars. Bland and unemotional things afflicted with hyperactive styling creases and gopping radiator grilles.
However, and notwithstanding that it sounds like it might be a new widescreen TV, I shall make an exception for this new LC500 coupe and say that it looks and sounds really rather nice:

I don't mind that it isn't the last word in performance. It just sounds like it might be a rather amusing all-round proposal.

There is a lot to like there, much more interesting than a whole heap of rivals and that interior looks a very smart place to be. But what's with the extra black detailing to the front lights that extends into the bumper? That looks wrong. I don't mind the vertical extensions and detailing but that just doesn't work especially in such a contrasting colour as white. Might work with a darker paint shade.

I'd have an LC500 like a shot. There is an RC500 around these parts which I see and hear now and then and it sounds wonderful. The fit and finish on the RC coupe I sat in 3 or 4 months ago was definitely a cut above the average German and the LC is another step up again. Not exactly cheap though but I think probably a very satisfying ownership prospect and somewhat different in a good way IMHO.

I'm in two minds, but think I cautiously approve - very 'concept car for the road.'

The LC500 is gorgeous, by far the best thing Lexus has done outside of the LFA. Hopefully, some of that magic will filter down the range. I have heard great reports of the GS-F though.

Love them but worry that it has no clear identity. Its a bit too sporty to be a luxury car and a bit to luxury to be considered sporting. Still they look awesome so that should be enough.

I’ve read (Chris Harris I think) that they’ve made some changes to the GS-F for 2017 which have made it even better. I like the LC500 a lot.

I could not have that Halloween face leering at me from my driveway. Reminds me of the Predator and not in a good way.

This thread prompted me to look at and read up / watch more about the LC500 and, like others here, it's very appealing and I'd have one in a heartbeat. Some of the US reviews on YouTube are really good and broadly positive. The interior quality looks to be incredible and the performance more than adequate alongside the fantastic sound and (on screen at least) very, very good looks there is an awful lot to like. Way out of my price range but given Lexus quality it will probably make a very solid second hand purchase even quite a few years down the road - I'll certainly be keeping a close eye on the used market in future

I received a PCP offer this morning at £749/mth which I thought was pretty reasonable. When I looked at the small print, it requires a £25,000 deposit!

Proving that anything can be "only £199 per month" (with a big enough deposit!). Back to the LC500, I like it. Apart from the front grille, but large front grilles seem almost de rigeur nowadays (thanks Audi for starting that trend...).

Not keen on the way the grille flares out so much in its lower half, but aside from that, a good looking car - not in the league of that Mazda though.
