Far more Impressive with the top up rather than down but I do like it

Prettier than the coupe and I love those veneered seat-backs, but it's still no DB9 or V8 Vantage looks-wise. That vent aft of the front wheels just doesn't work.

I've only seen a couple of regular DB11s and they look vastly better in the composite than the pictures. Not as timeless as a DB9, just a bit too fussy for that, but nice looking nonetheless. The rear deck looks a bit too high on this, like the Ferrari California/Portafino.

probably seems treasonous for me to say but I don't find that or the hardtop DB11 desirable in a way that I want the new Continental GT so badly I'd sell a kidney. It's best angle is 3/4s from the rear as I find the front, dare I say I touch bland. Look at the bejewelled lights of the Bentley, the milled switches and vents inside. I'm not going to say I hate the interior of the DB11 but i do dislike it. Very slab like and I really really dislike the door pull handles (very Keating Bolt) and the seat stitching design. The Conti has the interior thing absolutely spot on in every way. It's a car that made me do the lottery again, the Aston wouldn't pull me into the dealership the way the Conti is tugging me though the current Vantage and Vantage Volante is a thing of wonder and beauty, that's the desirable Aston

I don't mind it but its lost something from the previous shapes. Still better than that blob of a Bentley though

Much prefer that to the coupe, the rear windows line of the latter just doesn't seem right. That's a much improved look.

The vent is a bit kit car but overall a nice enough look.

Without all the 'advanced aero nonsense' it's a much better looking than the coupe.

I prefer the looks of the coupe myself, but then I've never understood the appeal of an open car - I've never particularly enjoyed driving one or looking at one.

If you’ve got a decent engine and something that was designed to be open, then there’s a lot of pleasure to be had, especially at low / road speeds. I’d always go for the open topped version of a decent sportscar or supercar, but will never understand anyone who buys a diesel convertible.

When I first saw a db11 on the road ,I thought wow ! Now I really don’t like them, coupe or drophead, give me a dbs,or v12 vantage any day over one of them.

Things I've driven with an open top have included a TVR 400SE, an Mg Midget, MGB and MGF as well as stuff like an Astra GTE (horrible) - and I've not enjoyed the openness of any of them, particularly when driving in towns. My gran, on the other hand (90 at the time) loved being a passenger in the TVR at 110mph racing past her friends in their Rover 216's and the like!

I would rather has a top spec AMG SL63/65 than this or even an R8 V10 Plus and change. I think the forthcoming Vantage Volante will be better.

It is better looking than the coupe - roof up and roof down.
I still can't like the steering wheel and dials in front of the driver - they just look low rent.
