I have never been to this event before which is a crime seeing as Croft Circuit is less than 10 minutes drive from me.
Some of the photos aren't great if I'm honest. I wish I hadn't sold my SLR in many ways and may need to get a small SLR with a super zoom lens for these sorts of things. Action shots are hard with a electronic viewfinder and screen.
Anyway, some of you may recognise TV Chef James Martin - he was racing the Mini - (how he fitted in it I don't know as he isn't exactly a slim chap in real life).
The highlight of my day was the starting of the Roll Royce Griffon V12 - this was meant as a replacement to the Merlin that powered the Spitfire.
