They have a hilariously small turning circle apparently.

They have a hilariously small turning circle apparently. I wonder if that's to do with it being rear wheel drive? Is the Twingo the same?

It's an odd looking car, at least in that colour scheme. In particular the views from the front and rear 3/4 make it appear as if it's a small SUV that's been dumped onto a much lower platform with small wheels, it looks as though it needs an extra inch on the wheel diameter and a ride height increase of 3 or 4 inches. IS it just because the glass is so much deeper than we've become used to? I'm not seeing any of that.. That's how it looks to me in the 1st and 4th pictures in the article

I thought the concept looked like a 205 from some angles - and that's paying it a huge compliment. Some of that has been lost in production, but it still has a wonderfully different look to run of the mill stuff. And that will make it desirable to those willing to pay the cash for one. As the pistonheads article says, it's all about heart based desirability and "want" rather than head based "a Mii / e-Corsa is more sensible". I do think they should have got more range out of it somehow though. I expect there'll be an upgrade to the battery packs available (for more money of course) along in due course.

I thought it was supposed to have styling cues based on the first-gen Civic, not the Pug 205........

I like the external appearance although it’s a crying shame that the front headlights are not still gently hooded like the concept. It’s just the dash which is a bit overly retro from the pictures.
Again that’s no biggie. It’s the price and range that kill it stone-dead as a proposition for me.
I’d be much more likely to buy a used i3 range-extender. Not ready for pure electric.

Obviously its a bit disappointing after the concept but what car isnt.
I like it but not enough for 30k and your in danger of big depreciation like the Zoe suffers as apart from the tech there isn't a great deal this gives you over a half the price ICE rival.

I have been looking at i3 Rex’s today as a potential 2nd car. Do BMW normally have a lot of leeway with their used PCP apr? It is a ludicrous 10.9%. As an aside Monday’s Smith and Sniff Podcast features a serious man with a 440i GC. Porter very impressed with the noise and the looks.

Yes you should be able to negotiate down to 5.9% or even 4.9%.
Don't know Smith & SNiff but thanks - shall look it up.

Urban EV - that is a Horrible colour for that car. Looks great and I love the semi-retro dash.
