Is anyone else having problems accessing GMail accounts? Currently in the USA and since yesterday I cannot access my account on a computer, I get an error message saying that the Gmail server took too long to respond. On the phone, the main inbox is accessible but not any folders I have created meaning I cannot find my flight reference to commence on-line check-in ! I've searched news sites and service status sites in the UK and USA but nothing is currently being flagged. TIA

No issues with my Gmail accounts - could it be the internet connection - we had trouble getting on line in the states on certain devices eg my pad couldn't get on but Claire's could - ended up playing with the settings to get full access

gmail does not like a bad internet connection. Try and find a good wifi connection and you should be OK. Plus switch off your own phone signal, as the phone may be over-riding the wifi.

It all resolved itself this morning (Saturday) and it had been OK earlier in the week...... maybe it was the hotel's internet connection speed and maybe it wasn't as I had issues on the phone across the city..... it may also be linked to the introduction of a new URL for Gmail inbox access. Whatever, I am currently at Wogan... I mean Logan airport having apparently been upgraded to Business Class as the flight appears to have been overbooked (again)
