Looks great, especially with the roof up. Name will always remind me of the Steve Martin/Michael Caine comedy Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, so that's a non.

To me there's a bit too much visual weight above the rear wheels, I don't like drop tops where the rear deck is as high as the top of the seat (not that I'd ever buy one).
Portofino is the name of the lilac colour that Fiat offered on the Coupe which puts me off a little (I know its a place too, before anyone feels the need to point that out!)

It looks okay to me. Bit like a mini F12.

Looks ace, don't even mind the name as it represents the nature of the car quite well.

I really like that, big improvement on the old model.
Not bothered what they call it

What was wrong with California? It is after all, just the current version of the California. Maybe Donald has made the Italians want to drop the American connection.

Oi! The Montego was alright for its time No it wasn't. We had one and it was shit! That looks great from angles except the straighahead. I'm just not keen on that massive gaping mouth although I appreciate it's probably necessary to provide adequate cooking and look better than the California Scooby style bonnet scoop.

Looks really good especially roof up. The name probably doesn't really matter as I struggle to know what any Ferrari is called these days. I was overtaken by on at speed on the M1 in the early ours of Sunday morning. I know it was the mid engined one that is some three digit combination starting with 4.

It was no worse than the equivalent Sierra or Cavalier. Actually the interior was a lot nicer than the Sierra which had a cliff face fascia made of cheap plastic (at least as a Y reg 1.6L)

I liked it when we went to visit some friends there two years ago. The old town is very pretty and out of season, the beaches weren't bad either. Puerto Banus is the really chavvy bit.

Yes, old town is OK but apart from that, I think I'd sooner a ride in a Seat Marbella than a visit to its namesake! - wasn't impressed with any of the Costa Del Sol apart from the odd spot last time I went and have no burning desire to return.

We visited as part of a ten day tour around Andalucía - we flew to Madrid, then drove to Almagro, Cordoba, Granada, Nerja, Marbella, Ronda and finally Seville for a wedding. Really enjoyed it.
As regards Marbella, I guess it helped that our friends lived in a big villa in Elviria, a little way outside Marbella, with access to the beach near the Marbella outpost of Nikki Beach. Which all seemed very pleasant to us.

Thumbs up from me. That would be rather nice in a tasteful spec.

For me the modern Ferrari has lost direction somewhat. I get no "Want one" feeling that I get from Aston and McLaren.

You see I get zero "want one" factor from McLarens. Diversity is the spice etc..:

Not all McLarens by any means but as a brand they do the want one thing for me. They do the trying too hard thing as well as anyone though.

In the right spec its fabulous and makes the 488 feel about as special as an R8 ...and seeing a few R8's yesterday at Blenheim they looked totally out of place. 720 is INCREDIBLE close up, was sceptical about the front styling but see one in the metal and it works so well and makes the MC12 and even the 650S look very dated now. Portofino....I like the name, goes well with the lifestyle this car will no doubt lead, but not sure I like the styling. No, not for me

I liked the California and this has ramped it up quite a bit. Not bothered by the name at all.
