That is a a seriously desirable car. For me, that 2000 A8 was the pinnacle of Audi design - interior and exterior. The exterior has that hewn from a single ingot look - no fancy lines and no over fussy details. The Audi interiors of that period were just "wow" compared to most else.

Are they in the same vein as 4star Classics? I see a couple of optimistic prices there.
The S8 is truly a thing of loveliness though.

^ It's a very low mileage example too

That is in lovely nick, but I really like the one that has just left us with the A8 being replaced very recently.

D2 is the one the A8 fanatics want, as opposed to my old D3. Probably easier to keep on the road than a D3 as it doesn't have the comms ring that the D3 has meaning you can work on a D2 and replace bits without needing a NASA IT consultant on hand.

Oh. Yes.
There is a V10 S8 on my patch that I regularly see and envy. It is far from pristine but it is an epic motor and it sounds fantastic.

Saw the fillum on Blu-ray earlier and thought about buying it until I clocked it was almost 20 quid!
