That interior shot is disgusting. Looks like the inside of an anus. (I imagine)

Very nice looking thing, interiors a bit OTT for me with all that screenage but I'll have to get used to that.
So odd numbers are ICE and Evens are Electric? Odd naming strategy but I guess more clear then calling everything E-Tron.

Audi have always had the best looking estate cars. I think the current A6 is a great looking estate and this just looks like a slightly smaller version.

Audi have always had the best looking estate cars. I disagree, I think the previous generation 3 series estate was better than the equivalent Audi, albeit somewhat spec sensitive

That looks quite good in S5 estate form, be interesting to see what the RS5 version is like.
The A6 estate has always looked good, but not better than the equivalent 5 series. Oh and 5 has always been better than 3!

Audi are having multiple stabs at ruining their own heritage through daft naming convention changes. First the engine size thing and now this. You'd think traditional OEM's already at risk, would be more careful....

They're not really estate cars. Estate cars should have near-vertical rears; the 850 was probably the best looking estate car yet now Volvo don't even do a proper estate any more. The V60 may be about to go back on sale in certain markets (including the UK) but it's a lifestyle vehicle now and not a proper estate. The Vauxhall Astra and VW Passat are about the only 2 proper estate cars left on sale in the UK

And I had one of them too, and loved it, so it's not necessarily as biased an opinion as you may think.

I never wished for more space in my 5 series estate. But the problem is a lot of people choose SUVs (like Chris )so the demand isn’t there, we should be happy that they are still being made.

The new 5 series can't be flying out the showrooms because I have had several offers of a test drive and good finance deals and now also get regular emails about the new M5. The i-Pace goes back on Friday and we pick up the i4 on Saturday. There is more than a hint of sadness at the i-Pace going!

One of my clubmates recently acquired an i-pace (used, about 3 years old I think) and absolutely loves it so far! That was from an early F11, and he's happy he can fit all his helis in the i-pace, so all good!

I keep hearing tales of Jaguar woe and that they are on the verge of extinction.
Only thing I heard of for forwards direction is a BE exec type motor, probably based on the electric XJ they shitcanned some time ago before a sniff of it getting out the doors.

The hatch is a dead ringer for the second generation 4-series Gran Coupe, shape-wise. Basically the same but with Audi detailing.
