It being a nice morning, I decided to take the Alvis to meet some friends for breakfast at the Hook Norton Brewery. I was joined by a 1924 Alvis 12-50 tourer and a 1925 Sunbeam 16.9 drophead coupe. The owner of the brewery has a 1930s Alvis, so anyone who arrives in a proper car is allowed to park infront of the main buildings. We set the world to rights over a very nice full English and then went to see the horses which they still use to pull the dray on deliveries to local pubs. All in all, a very pleasant morning. .

That sounds like one of those wonderful olde worlde experiences you can only get in some parts of rural England.
