Looks OK. At least VW want to make a coupe again, so full credit for that.
It seems that VW are continuing to go the route of more and more that manufacturers, that have decided that the only way to make EV's desirable is to dig out names from the back catalogue. Mustang Mach E. Ford Capri. VW Microbus. Renault 5E. How soon before we have the ID 3 renamed as the Beetle?

Hmm that Scirocco looks like a coupe version of the Taycan or Audi er, whatever their car based on the Taycan is!!
If this is VWs design style for non-ID or sporty (?)cars then I expect I'm going to have to check the badges to see which VAG brand its from.....

Yes the whole "ID" thing is awful.
Agree that if it looked anything like that rendering, it would be rather attractive.

How soon before we have the ID 3 renamed as the Beetle? It will become the Golf Beetle seems more appropriate to me. Crappy interior; clearly designed down to be as low cost to build as possible (which shows); disappointing to drive.  But I expect you're right. One would hope the quality and design will be increased thought for the ID3 to be called a Golf. |
