No they're not back - just a 20 year old prototype saved - probably just as well that it didn't go into production - save a copyright argument from the Vaxhall/Opel Signum designers!

I saw that SAIC had put it on permanent loan to Gaydon.
I guess if smaller Rover 75 hatchback was the look they were going for, they hit the spot?

The looks are a bit suspect today but in the early nougties that would be a pretty mid market design and would probably have sold OK in this country given that they were still selling a fair few 45s which were a two generations previous Honda Civic.
