www.blenheimclassicsupercar.com/Anyone attending? I am. Taking my brother-in-law with me. £15.30 a tickets seems decent value to see 500 cars, some rare exotica and maybe a well known face or two I actually cannot wait, just hope the weather gives us a nice day. Pics to come

These pics may not be in chronological order from the day, but what a superb day it was despite the constant heavy drizzle all day, but that didn't deter from viewing some of the worlds rarest, costliest and most beautiful cars in such a beautiful setting 3 Enzo's, 5 F40's, the Lamborghini Centenario, the Reventon too. The new Bugatti Chiron was there, alongside it's stablemate and owned by the same gentleman, the Veyron SuperSport. Having never seen a Veyron before, even at a show, I did jump like a little kid with excitement when I turned to see it being driven in. I am petrolhead but I don't mind saying that has made my world as I never thought I'd see one in my life, let alone be able to touch such a rare car My favs from the show apart from the Bugatti's were the Countach's...what a spectacular design they still are. Of the more modern cars I have completely fallen for the latest Vanquish, the S. Looks way better in the metal and such a 'pretty' car, but if I was to choose one to take home I just absolutely love the AMG GT-R. So incredibly well proportioned, looks epic, sounds great and in that grey was a stand out car for me. Enjoy the pics

My thoughts:
GOOD: Mercedes AMG GT-R - if you haven't seen one in the metal you haven't experienced just how much presence this car has, it is so beautifully proportioned and looks epic from every angle. Grille is huge, but dominant. I love the Porsche GT3 RS so much, but given the choice I'd take the Mercedes every day. Vanquish (and Vanquish S) - pics do not do it justice. Handsome, pretty, mega expensive looking GT car. Bugatti Chiron - that two-tone blue is just the most perfect colour combination. I was transfixed by this, not least because I will probably never see one on the roads but just how attractive it is down to the very smallest detail. Makes the Veyron look old, but then I did weep when I saw the Veyron as that, especially in Supersport spec, is a life changing sight Ferrari 488 - best looking Ferrari currently available, and best looking in some time. Side vents look so much better in the metal. So much presence. A 360M was parked alongside for a short period and just looked old McLaren 720S - good grief there is some ridiculously awesome styling details on this close up. Makes the MC12 and even the 570S look, well, rather bland, even though they aren't Lamborghini Huracan - IMO sooooo much better looking and definitely better proportioned than the heavy wide and dare I say cumbersome Aventador. The new Aventador S was there and just looked like a beast, whereas the Huracan Performante in that grey was spectacular Tesla Model X - much larger in the metal than pics suggest. I couldn't live with the huge flatscreen display, too distracting, but interior space was huge and so much performance. Liked this a lot Alfa 4C - found in the Pistonheads carpark - pretty, pretty car. Well proportioned. In a daft lairy colour, yellow or green, this would look so wrong, but in grey this looked damn perfect Alpine A110 - looks way better in the metal but in a way looks cheap. Deliveries next September. Would I have one over a 718 Cayman - yep, but quick glance and the interior looks tacky, plenty of Clio switchgear. Tough call when you see one though, you are smitten, I was Lotus Esprit S1 - just stunning in every way
the BAD: Spyker - what the f**k are the Dutch on? Maybe rare but boy that's a minger. Looks too narrow. Did not like Zenvo - expensive and rare but looks too much like a kit-car. Sorry but that looks too heavy and cheap Koenigsegg - UGLY, and one of them had some very tacky gold paint detailing. Glad I saw a few but didn't float my boat in any way
the UGLY: The Tom Hartley Salesmans' suit - ill fitting, cheap black cloth and he looked shabby. Looked like he bought it from Tesco. Sartorially bloody awful and not in keeping with one who sells high value rare cars

Great pictures, thanks for sharing ! I'm clearly getting old as the newer stuff leaves me a bit cold. Great pics indeed. Thanks for standing in the rain so we didn't have to! Michael you're not the only one. I am glad that they exist, but they do little for me.

Great pictures, thanks for sharing ! I'm clearly getting old as the newer stuff leaves me a bit cold. Thank you, Michael. Some of the new stuff are marmite cars, I know what you mean. I followed a Ferrari 575M in and it's always been one of my favourite designs, the long bonnet is so right and seeing an old 328 GTS/GTB was just pure perfection It's strange how you drool over a car in pics but when you see it in person you're kind of disappointed. For years I have lusted after a Porsche 911 GT3 RS. I still think its purposeful, attractive and looks expensive, but seeing one up against the newer designed Mercedes AMG GT-R I would walk straight past the Porsche dealership. This in the metal in my favourite grey is one of the best looking well detailed cars, dare I say makes the Porsche look dated. Seeing both Bugatti's was a life changing moment, sounds dramatic but unless you live in Mayfair, at the Dorchester or Dubai (or indeed a dealership) when are you going to see am ultra rare £2m+ car being driven by it's owner. The owner was a nice guy, we did have a brief chat to him as he exited his Veyron SS. He told us he owns his own health care company and has ''many'' other cars in his collection. Will definitely attend next year

Great pics. Colin was there too I think.
It's the same guy who came to La Vie this year. He bought the Veyron and Chiron.

BUG111 wasn't there, then?
Nice pics, looks like you got yourself a good spot. Real shame about the weather.
