I think I would want mine to be marginally less in your face. Something like this:

I prefer the DLS as well, as that’s a bit much for me, but love that they’re making really interesting, great cars.

They've certainly come a long way from the days of making sewing machines for me old mum.

Both look absolutely epic but agree the one in Eds post is a bit OTT especially in orange but then you could argue that if you're going to throw silly money at Singer to refurb a 964 you may as well go all in.

Glad that these are made, but a bit 'look at me' for around here. I know someone who owns this car, which also wears a Singer badge

Was that also once a 964?

I am not a fan of the 935 styling, so I much prefer the cleaner look of the classic Singer 911s and the 911 Turbo. I would like to see a Singer homage to a 934 RSR client edition though...

The 935 rep looks like a throwback to the 80s and Gemballa, Strosek, etc.
I quite like it but not in that colour.

Beautiful. Yes, over the top, but in a sort of 80's/90's style I prefer to many more modern designs. It would not matter, since the price is so eye-wateringly high, and the issues of getting anything repaired so massive, that every trip would be a bum-clenching fear run, hoping that suicidal pheasants, pedestrians, and other road users did not upset your day...

I wasn’t sure myself, and then spent some time at FoS staring at them with an Italian friend who is a car designer. I am now a convert.

The gold one just needs a sticker set to be a mid-70s Le Mans refugee.
They'll be doing a Moby Dick recreation soon.
Actually the orange one just needs some Jagermeister stickers!

I can see the appeal of those if the regular Singer models are just a bit too subtle and look too much like other old 911s. If you're spending the sort of money Singer charge I'm not surprised that customer feedback has led to these creations.
