Judging by the mud on the glacis plates, the vehicle in front reverse in an uncontrolled manner. Probably repairable but not for a few months.

This reminds me of a DSS small systems contact who'd bought a load of Siemens lap tops which had quite a high failure rate. She called a rep in and ripped him a new one and she used the phrase "Gerry made" (if that's how you spell it) which at the time was a derogatory term meaning shoddily made. These days she couldn't get away with it or anything like it and even then I thought it was a bit much. I remember laughing out loud and saying "You didn't." "Oh yes I bloody did!" was the reply.
I didn't really have too many issues with the Siemens lap tops as there weren't that many in the scheme of things, it was the Toshiba's ones that irritated me but the DSS didn't seem to want to bother complaining.

The term “Jerry built” doesn’t have any German origin, seemingly first being applied to some cheap, sub-standard housing in Liverpool built by some builder called Jerry or the Jerry Building Society.

To be fair anyone who can squirrel away seven tank engines unnoticed deserves a fair bit of praise.

To be fair anyone who can squirrel away seven tank engines unnoticed deserves a fair bit of praise. There's going to be seven very quick "sleeper" Ladas nipping round Moscow soon.

It doesn't sound like a lot of money for 7 engines. Maybe that's part of their problem.
