If that was an anti armour missile it was not a very good one.... Ruissian tanks of that era (indeed right up until the most recent ones) sit the turret crew on top of the ammo storage, as can be seen from so many videos of them becoming short term heavy aircraft on t'internet...

It depends on the generation of ATGM and the protection fitted. Most of the armoured units in the region have fifth gen reactive armour fitted which is pretty good against early gen ATGM. Javelin and other top down directed energy weapons have more effect because you canot fit reactive armour on hatches.
It will eventually buff out.
