Funnily enough I was going up test a portofino and Roma yesterday as I think they both look great ,but had to cancel . I like the Roma convertible but I’m confused as to why they need it alongside a portofino .

Rear seats in cars like this have been pointless for a long while. I have never seen the point myself

Nost of those I have seen have no space behind the front seats for legs, even of a child which is why I feel they are pointless. Obviously not every situation is the same. IMHO, a secure storage option would make more sense.

I think that's quite attractive. Not drop dead gorgeous. If you squint it sort of reminds me of a latest generation MX-5 on steroids. The slightly pointy snout; the bulge in the wing and bonnet line over the front wheels; the kick up after the rear of the doors.

Not the first new Ferrari that has similarities to a Mazda…..

I don’t dislike it. The Roma is probably the only currently Ferrari I really like the look of, but one drove up behind me a few months ago on the New Kings Road and from the sound that I heard before I saw it, I genuinely thought I was going to be passed by a barried-up Ford Focus, not a V8 Ferrari.

I must admit the Roma is probably the Ferrari I've most liked the look of for quite a long time. It's just that little bit less fussy than some of their other recent models. I didn't even remember that the Portofino was a thing until it was mentioned earlier in this thread but this does look a lot better. I still much prefer the Roma in coupe form.

It's good that they've brought out an affordable, entry level model for the working man. Ferrari's shouldn't just be for the wealthy.

I am tempted to put up the sales video they sent me which had the lovely inclusion of the young saleswoman introducing herself just in case I went and didn't know who she was. Funny how when they are 60 and male they never do that.

Agreed. My decision to buy the M5 was not unconnected with the fact that, on the test drive, every time I planted the throttle and gave it the full nine yards (so to speak), the very attractive blonde saleswoman giggled with delight.
