This place was opposite my old house and owned by a loner who had a few old cars in his house. So what's under the sheet and what car is in the back garden The tree in the front is massive I found this property on the Rightmove Android app and wanted you to see it: www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/130829471

Front looks like a reliant Robin but the back end doesn’t.

No idea on the car but didn’t realise you were from that part of the world!
I’m a Notts born individual myself (albeit the outskirts) and my dad had his office in central Nottingham through my childhood so spent many hours during the holidays in Beatties etc!!
On an unrelated note - Only £160k!!! Ok, it needs a shit ton of work but on a £/sqm basis that’s a lot of house for little money (caveat I’m not familiar with that particular area!)

It's just round the corner from where my elder daughter lived with her ex.. almost backs on to the Premier Inn where I used to stay when I went to visit them. Interesting that the estate there has roads named after people/objects connected with the USA moon landing programme !

Definitely a metro but I doubt its that spicy a one! Looks like a box arch at the back though maybe? I thought it had a massive rear spoiler but it turned out to be the green wheelie bin.

One of those cars under the sheet looks like a Volvo 340.

We live near Ilkeston now, backing onto Shipley park/old American adventure site. £160k a bit ambitious, I sold my extended 3 bed in great condition 2 years ago for £200k and they seem to be about £220-240k now. The area is on the outskirts of Notts, very quiet, Ofsted good/excellent primary etc but you are never far away from crap areas in Nottingham

I know where you are - not very familiar but driven through that way a few times. I grew up in Keyworth, grandparents in Bunny and then moved east to Orston (a few miles past Bingham) so the opposite side. The house prices just highlight how absurdly skewed things are in some areas compared to others but yeah, Notts certainly has its fair share of crap areas

What is this car in the back garden? It looks like some sort of fibreglass kit car to me. Possibly rear-engined. I have looked through the obvious contenders such as Peel, AKS and Bond etc. and none of them look right.

By heck that house needs some work. Outside starting with a good tree surgeon and inside with a good fumigation before anybody enters.

Is that not a Honda in the back garden and possibly an RS2000 in the front.

Only one left on the front in the sales particulars, it is right at the base of the tree. I'm sure one was a Saab 900 when the cover blew off one day....
Odd chap, guess he has died.
£20k of refurb and you'd have a nice house
Thanks Bryan
