The job brought us out to see Leinster Rugby in the Heineken Cup today.
The day included great seats for the game, a meal at the Presidents Club in the Aviva Stadium, free bar before and after the game and an interview with a few past players.
the first half of the game wasn’t great but they won, scoring 6 tries in the process.
The food was amazing, I drank more than I normally would but spread out over the day, I felt almost sober when I was leaving and made it to the bus in plenty of time.
Many people were still there as I left including some very senior people in the company, the most senior was so drunk that security had to lie him down to sleep it off…
I don’t understand that. He’s probably earning a lot more than I am and I don’t feel the need to drink the place dry just because it’s free.
Anyway I had a full fry up when I got home about half an hour ago.
Can’t remember the details but it was salmon followed by beef and then cheesecake.
All were delicious and left me wanting more food!
