A couple of points really.
Will Max be responsle in his overtakes this weekend or continue to dive into any old slice of corner like a five year old diove bombing in the public baths?
And, will Max play nice with Cheko? Does Christian have the presence to shut madmax down and conrtol him or does madmax drive the Red Bull bus after all?
History (Multi 21) would suggest the *star* driver will always have Christian over a barrel.

As it’s the end of season one assumes Red Bull racers will be doing whatever they want. All eyes on next season already to see if there really is a Mercedes resurgence, whether Ferrari can understand how to run an F1 team without having a Teuton or Anglo with some senior input and at what point Honda decide to either buy Red Bull or pull out of F1.
I’m hoping the red cars fare well and also the Orange ones from Woking (Surrey’s own Maranello without any of the elegance whatsoever….). I’ve long since forgotten this season has happened.

I did not realise the Honda debacle was still running, and running it seems. Oh well, it IS 1F after all.
RE the red and orange cars, that would be good. Not likely to do them any good in the championship now.

Bit of a damp squib of a season in the end largely as a result of the shambles of a race they had here last time round. Max will rafe however he wants to, I think he's made it pretty clear that he could give a flying fuck what you or anyone else thinks of him. At least when Vettel acted like that in his RB days he was a perfectly likeable character out of the car but Max just comes across as a petulant child who's never been told 'no'.
Anyway I won't be watching in much the same way I've barely watched much of the rest of the season.

I think the Ligiers have a good chance but the Tyrell’s are the car to beat this year. Fancy a Toleman or a Wolff to maybe make the top 6.
Seriously I’ve lost all interest in this season. It’s right up there with the World Cup - it has little or no interest to me this time around.
I can contribute a joke though.
What’s the difference between Dubai and Abu-Dhabi? The folks from Dubai don’t like the Flintstones but the people from Abu-Dhabi-do…

Ah yes we have the World Cup to start enjoying too this weekend. A celebration of Qatars rich footballing history! Also a great opportunity for all of us who work from home on Mondays to scive off for a couple of hours for the England game.

Our London office has the game on in the boardroom. To add to that the inner courtyard of said office (I know, I know…..) is firing up pizza ovens just before kick off. I might have to go in…..

To become a better Grand Prix Abu Dhabi needs to become a daytime race. There would be a lot more degradation in the day. There would be more strategic-options available, and other cars without the absolute raw pace would become a factor with potentially less tyre degradation. At night it’s obviously much easier on the tyres, so you don’t get any particular surprises, the grid becomes quite static two-by-two, and that’s why I think the racing is generally dull at Abu Dhabi. I would ordinarily suggest more circuit-changes, but it’s unlikely that the VIP-favourite turns 12-16 alongside the yachts would be ditched. I do think that the deletion of a few of the chicanes for 2021 has made the racing better. Anything that removes fiddly sections with a quicker laptime gets my approval .The new turn 9 is a great example of how a corner should be; the drivers can take multiple-lines through the corner. That not only makes for great racing, drivers can run in fresh air, as oppose to a lot of Abu Dhabi’s corners which are very much follow the leader, one-line only in someone’s turbulent air. Perez. Well, he blames Gasly for holding him up. He was in a fight with Mick Schumacher’s Haas; you can understand why he didn’t want to let Perez by. It could be argued that Perez’s fumbled overtake on Hamilton cost him. He went deep in turn 6, that allowed Hamilton back past on the second DRS zone and it took Perez a lap to get past Hamilton again. That delay cost Perez precious seconds. Talking of Hamilton, it was right that he gave back Sainz the position back. Sainz was fully in-control when overtaking; just taking to the run-off and claiming that someone has forced you off would set a bad precedent. Sainz was naturally going to squeeze Hamilton out, having to brake at a much more acute-angle and on the dirtier-side of the road. If that sort of overtaking is frowned upon, that would be rather unfortunate.
