I’m sure the lost tyre is the only issue. The rest will polish out.

No, not just him. He’s unfortunate that he’s post-Brexit Mayor during a pandemic so his plans are utterly scuppered by an exodus to the country by some, a lack of London based Gastarbeitern, more skint people not being able to pay council tax, commercial rates income battered and commuters WFH shitting his budget and therefore his manifesto promises. So the Met has to prioritise based on lower Council tax income and therefore small crime has blossomed to the extent big crime has channelled more energy to small groups who then have their own feuds that the big gang bosses don’t control (or give a shit about).
He’s still managed to fuck up driving in London by taking half the road space away in a period when trains aren’t running a full timetable and tube workers are taking more sick leave or on strike so he’s still a khaaaaan t.

London is just this country but a few years ahead unfortunately.
I honestly think I might need to start taking German or Italian lessons as the prospect of Northern Italy, Austria or Switzerland as places to reside look more and more attractive.
Yes I do think we are going to hell in a handbasket

This was in Brixton. Now I know that some people say that Brixton has been gentrified (i.e. the houses cost more) but to me it's always been a war zone and a shit-hole. Seems nothing much has changed.
But it's OK as according to the BBC - "Helen Marasha, development director for Big Kid Foundation, which runs a local adventure playground, said a counsellor as well as other support staff were at the centre to offer to support for anyone affected. "This is obviously huge for this whole community, it has a huge impact on all of us," she said."These are people that the whole community care about and there's a lot of people who are hurting and need support."
