When Boris left, the smug look on his face suggested to me he knew what was coming. I am more convinced of that than ever.

I suppose they could always go down the "Complete breakdown and disassociation" route. Esconce her somewhere like the priory while she gets used to the idea of holding a new record *Guiness book worthy perhaps"?

I was half expecting her to sink the ship immediately by calling a general election.
Christ knows who we are going to get now.

So every one in the big yellow bar in the poll is a winner.
Prizes are subject to higher levels of taxation, u-turns on acceptance and the view of the markets.

Her resignation speech was almost as short as her stint as PM.
So now I guess the question is Sunak, Mordant or Wallace?

Short tenure, but what a tenure.

The above from Jeff reminded me of something I wrote back in December 2013:
On the twelfth day of Christmas, I gave to my MP:
Twelve plebs policing Eleven percent payrise Ten Lords-a-lying Nine cronies chancing Eight aides a-bilking Seven ‘SpAds’ ¬a-spinning Six whips a-whipping FIVE RENT BOYS... Four expenses claims Three pensions Two second homes And a duck house in Hartley Wintney!

In all this we have to remember that this has made a Labour landslide a real possibility. Years ago I and my whole family were Labour through and threw but for me they've drifted and are now too much of an identity issue party. I read "Despised" by Paul Embery and agreed with much of it. Despite the obvious issues with the Cons I'm not thrilled at the thought of a Labour govt as they still don't seem to know how to add up, haven't dropped the idea that the universe can be fixed by rinsing the rich and big business until they've all skipped abroad and in addition to all that they now don't seem to know what a woman is and there's the lingering worry that there are too many with a tendency for anti Semitism and Marxism in the party. And not forgetting the local issues which made me think I'd never vote for them again.
So who to vote for?
